Enjoy a journey through a landscape of extreme contrasts, full of history and geology. After an early pickup in Reykjavík, we head out of the city to Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site that played host to the ancient Viking parliament dating back to the 10th century. From there, we venture into the highlands. Our modified 4x4 vehicles literally take you off the beaten path as we drive through the barren mountain pass of Kaldidalur to Langjökull for an unforgettable discovery of this enormous glacier. Driving on top of a glacier can only be done in the right vehicle and our super jeeps are more than equipped for this adventure.  The lava field of Hallmundarhraun is our next destination. There, you will explore one of Iceland's biggest and most spectacular lava caves.* After caving, we visit the unusual waterfalls of Hraunfossar and Barnafoss, and take a look at one of the world's largest hot springs before returning to Reykjavík. 

In winter and spring we might have to alter the itinerary due to road conditions.

* In winter, a visit to the lava cave is only available if weather conditions permit.
