Landmannalaugar Week-End Winter Adventure
Let’s get out there and experience some of what the Icelandic winter has to offer
the Icelandic way! Super jeep adventure in unpredictable weather,
blizzards, and
great food in a
comfortable mountain hut followed by
hot spring bathing and looking out for the
northern lights! This winter
adventure week-end takes you to the area “behind the mountains “, Fjallabak, in the South Highlands of Iceland. Our route takes us past volcanoes, mountains, hills and craters that in winter are covered with a beautiful snow blanket, into
Landmannalaugar where the striking contrast between ice and fire creates a magical world. There we overnight in a comfortable mountain hut and have a three course
BBQ lamb dinner. Right next to the hut you find a natural warm river, perfect for a
relaxing bath under the stars, while waiting to see if the
Aurora Borealis come out and dance in the winter sky. On the way back the next day a visit to
Gullfoss and the
Geysir geothermal area will put the finishing touch on your winter adventure week-end.

Included : Driver- tour guide, full board, sleeping bag accommodation in mountain hut, sleeping bags, sleeping bag linen and towel (bring your swimsuit!).

Please note: Participants are picked up at their accommodation in Reykjavík before the tour starts and dropped off at their accommodation in Reykjavík at the end of the tour.
