South Coast, Black Beaches, Waterfalls and Glacier Walk

For this exciting day tour, we take the main road eastwards from Reykjavik to the foot of the Mt. Eyjafjallajökull glacier massif, driving through the Icelandic farmlands beneath the mountains. In less than two hours we arrive at Mýrdalsjökull, Iceland’s fourth largest glacier. From here we will continue towards the Sólheimajökull glacier where we go for a blue ice glacier walk (1h). On the way back we take a 4x4 drive down onto the black sand beaches and admire the beauty and power of the North Atlantic Ocean. Last but not least, the picturesque waterfalls Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss are mandatory stops where the brave ones can venture behind the waterfall as it falls off its cliff!
