  • Description:

Big on Iceland but short on time? Our super jeep tour of the south coast of Iceland explores the magnificent sights along the southern part of the country. Starting the day with a scenic drive that features moss covered landscapes, bubbling hot springs, and majestic mountains, we will stop at the breathtaking Skógafoss waterfall. The vast and alluring famous black sand beach of Vík awaits us on our next stop. Here you will see the unique and towering basalt columns at Reynisfjara. These columns are said to have inspired the design for the Hallgrimskirkja church in Reykjavík. On our stop to the majestic Seljalandfoss waterfall, you have the chance to go behind a waterfall and feel the light spray of fresh Icelandic water melting from nearby glaciers.

Along this south coast adventure, you will venture beyond the beaten path as our super jeep goes off road to ford various glacial rivers and easily cross paths that are not accessible by normal cars or buses.  After a day of experiencing some of the gems of the south coast, you will surely have worked up an appetite.  We stop at a local restaurant for a delicious meal and Irish coffee before heading off to hunt for the Northern Lights. This natural phenomenon is best seen during our dark winter nights. While we make every effort to view the Northern Lights, there is no guarantee that they will appear.

Included: Driver-tour guide, dinner and irish coffee.

Not included: Drinks at dinner. Note: Bring warm and rainproof clothing.

*Please note that the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, therefore, sightings cannot be guaranteed.
