Day 1: Reykjavik – Þingvellir - Gullfoss – Geysir – Þjórsárdalur
Pick up and departure from your hotel from 09:00 am to Þingvellir national park, site of the ancient Viking parliament, here we get a good view over the rift valley where the continents meet. Next we see the spouting hot springs in the Geysir geothermal area, where we will see the geyser Strokkur which spouts every 5-10 minutes. Close by is the famous Gullfoss waterfall, one of Iceland´s most beautiful waterfall, falling down about 32 meters, in two giant steps, into a deep gorge.  We continue the drive towards Thjorsardalur valley, and pass Stöng, an archaeological side with a farm that was covered in volcanic ashes from the Hekla volcano in 1104. Visit of the beautiful fissure of Gjáin and the Háifoss waterfall (122m). Night at a hotel.

Day 2: Hekla- Landmannalaugar
Some of the most beautiful scenery of Iceland is found in the Torfajökull Massif in the South Icelandic Highlands. Here we can find the most famous hot spring for bathing surrounded by adventure like landscape of unreal beauty. Passing by the Hekla volcano we reach Landmannalaugar after a stop at the Ljótipollur Lake or ”Ugly Pond”, a eruptive fissure, which was created during an enormous eruption in 1470. In spite of its name the crater is uniquely impressive and the surroundings stand no comparison to other such natural phenomena in the country. Once we’re in Landmannalaugar we will soak ourselves in the hot river to relax and wash of the travel dust before driving back through the southern farmlands to our accommodations for the night. Night at a hotel.

Day 3: Seljalandsfoss – Þórsmörk
Þórsmörk valley is a nature paradise, named after the Norse God Thor. We drive on this 4x4 track road over a approximately 25 un-bridged glacial rivers that takes us inland behind the glaciers to this wonderful valley, full of geological wonders and unique vistas. Here we have various options for easy hiking and exploring the area.  Among other we will visit the canyons of Merkurker and Stakkholtsgjá and hike to the small mountain of Valahnúkur. Thórsmörk is a nature reserve of un compared natural beauty. On our way back out of Thorsmork we will do a short stop by Seljalandsfoss, a 60 meter high waterfall where it is possible to walk behind the waterfall. Night at a hotel.

Day 4: South coast – Ice walk on Sólheimajokull glacier - Krísuvík – Blue Lagoon – Reykjavík
Heading east to Solheimajokull glacier, a glacier tongue extending from, Myrdalsjokull glacier, the fourth biggest in Iceland. There we’ll will put on some crampons and grab an ice axe and go for a walk on the glacier. This is a safe and easy glacier walk on crampons up on to the ice field where a wonderland of ice sculptures, ridges and deep crevasses await our discovery. After a thrilling adventure on the ice we drive on our 4x4 along the black south coast sand beach and admire the beauty and power of the North Atlantic Ocean. Back on the main road we head back west. We pass through the small villages of Hvolsvollur, Hella and Selfoss. Here we turn off the main road and head to Reykjanes Peninsula, the south-westernmost tip of Iceland. This area looks very volcanically active and barren with lava fields and old shield volcanoes and crater row. This area is known for much thermal activity and the nearby, powerful high temperature area has partially been harnessed to supply energy. Here we also find the Blue Lagoon. You can enjoy bathing and relaxing in the Blue Lagoon, known for its positive effects on the skin. After a bath in the Blue Lagoon we head back to Reykjavik where our tour ends.
