Gullfoss Waterfall, the Famous Geysir Hot Spring and the Aurora Borealis if Weather Conditions Allow.
We
depart from Reykjavik in a very comfortable super Jeep with our first
stop at the magnificent Gullfoss waterfall cascading down in the white
colored Hvita river, from the magnificent Langjökull glacier.
We then head to Haukadalur the home of the great Geyser and the
reliable Strokkur geyser that erupts in 3 to 7 minute intervals. This
incredible hot spring spouts boiling water to a height of 25 to 35
meters. We’ll take a short safari on a black sandy beach and after a
scrumptious lobster dinner in Stokkseyri, we head back to Reykjavík and
as we are away from the lights of the city, we can hunt for the amazing
Aurora Borealis* as we drive through the agricultural headland of south
Iceland and through the small settlements of the countryside.
*Please note that the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) is a natural phenomena and sightings, therefore, cannot be guaranteed
Note: This tour is a combination tour, including the golden
